Pinn gets caught napping as Newcombe dives in and scores a takedown. Pinn manages to retain guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Pinn keeping moving, preventing Newcombe from controlling successfully.
Pinn really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Newcombe. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Newcombe has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Newcombe has hold of Pinn's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Pinn manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
