Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joe Wills (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andy Owen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wills comes to the cage accompanied by Enter Sandman . Andy Owen is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Joe Wills!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Andy Owen!
The judges for this bout are Darius Henderson, Ben Watson and Topper Green.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wills looks to land a combination but Owen avoids it well.
Wills has his takedown stuffed
and Owen counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Wills thinking.
Wills misses with a takedown attempt
and Owen counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Owen lands with a right hand.
Wills shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Owen defends it nicely.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Joe Wills. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Owen lands a nice looking body shot.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Owen avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

and Owen counters with a straight right hand.

Wills takes the fight into the clinch.
Owen blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Owen misses with a hook to the ribs.

Wills wants to get back to striking at distance but Owen won't allow it.
Wills tries to score a body lock takedown but Owen shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
With the fighters up against the cage, Wills throws an elbow but misses.
Wills goes for a takedown attempt but Owen pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Owen pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Wills fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Owen manages to avoid it.
Owen is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Wills with a body shot.
A head kick from Owen lands but Wills takes it in his stride.
Owen moves out of range of the body kick.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A slapping leg kick lands for Owen.
Owen jabs Wills right on the nose. Wills blinks but takes it well.
Owen looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Crunch! Owen slams his shin into Wills's torso.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Wills on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Wills is breathing heavily.
Owen goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Owen thuds a left hand into Wills's body.
Owen throws a nice outside leg kick.
Owen throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Wills.

Wills is rocked!
Owen tests Wills's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Oh Wills is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Owen cracks Wills with a left hook right on the temple and Wills goes down! He's out! Referee! Stop the fight! Owen lands a few more punches before the dopey ref steps in - hopefully Wills is OK!

After the fight, Andy Owen was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
