Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Michal Maly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hon mo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Hon mo was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

mo moves into the clinch.
mo jumps guard but Maly stands there with mo around his waist. mo gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
mo tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Maly just stands there and leans against the cage.
Maly prevents the takedown attempt.
Michal Maly has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hon mo.
mo goes for a takedown attempt but Maly pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
mo drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Maly gets the underhooks and prevents it.

A nice leg kick lands there from Maly.
Maly stalks mo and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into mo's face. mo staggers backwards, shaken.

Maly drives through and clinches with mo against the cage.
Maly manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
A right handed body shot lands from Maly.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Maly fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and mo has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
