The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nezmah scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Jarles throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Nezmah counters with a stiff right hand.
Sloppy strikes from Jarles. Those never looked like landing.
Jarles takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

It looks like Kit Jarles has been cut.
Jarles misses with the combination.
Nice cross by Nezmah.
Jarles throws a lazy uppercut

and Nezmah counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Well, if Nezmah is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Nezmah decides to return to a standing position.
Jarles tries to close the distance and clinch but Nezmah swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Nezmah! But no joy.
Nezmah with a jab.
Nezmah scores with a sloppy right hand. Jarles should have avoided that one.
Nezmah has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Jarles throws a sloppy head kick and Nezmah moves out of range easily.

Jarles throws a head kick that misses
and Nezmah counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
A combination from Jarles does no damage.
Nezmah scores with a nice head shot.

Jarles is rocked!
I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Nezmah has cracked Jarles with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Nezmah lands another huge swinging hook and Jarles tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Jarles, before Nezmah can land any more shots!
