Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Murray Bookchin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Timu Agamu!
The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Peter Branson and David Hoff.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Agamu gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Bookchin tries to throw a body punch but Agamu avoids it by throwing Bookchin back against the cage.
Bookchin throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Agamus head.
Still in the clinch, Bookchin scores with a nice short uppercut.
Agamu is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

Agamu manages to break the clinch.
Bookchin checks a low kick from Agamu.
Good exchange - Bookchin coming out on top.
Agamu fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Bookchin manages to avoid it.
Murray Bookchin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Agamu ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Bookchin moves away.
Agamu takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Agamu throws a right hand that misses
and Bookchin counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Bookchin tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Agamu manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Agamu fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Bookchin, pushing him back against the cage.
Agamu tries to work over Bookchin's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Agamu blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Agamu lands a shoulder strike.

Agamu's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Agamu on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bookchin lands with a hook. Agamu tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Bookchin fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Agamu looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Bookchin throws a body punch but Agamu moves out of range.

Agamu darts in and clinches Bookchin up against the cage.

Bookchin manages to pull guard.

Bookchin has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Agamu doesn't defend quickly enough and Bookchin has managed to lock this one up! Can Agamu escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Bookchin on a fantastic submission victory.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Murray Bookchin!
Murray Bookchin tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
Timu Agamu spoke after the fight, saying 'My opponent was better then me good fight but i'll come back stronger and continue going after whats mine the championship belt '.
