Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Kimmo Kiiruna!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Paul Maul!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kiiruna looks to land a left hand but Maul moved out of range nicely.
Maul fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Kiiruna throws a big shot that misses.
Maul has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Kiiruna is landing a low percentage of strikes.
The fighters circle momentarily. Maul darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Maul fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kiiruna manages to avoid it.
Kiiruna misses the jab.
Kiiruna definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Maul throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Maul takes one to the chin there.
Paul Maul seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Maul misses with a looping right.
Kiiruna misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Maul.
Kiiruna throws a series of punches but Maul moves out of range.
Kiiruna takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Kiiruna takes a jab right on the kisser.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Kiiruna throws a hook but Maul avoids it easily.
The fighters circling - Maul throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Maul throws a looping overhand right but Kiiruna ducks down to avoid it.
Kiiruna avoids the body shot from Maul.
Kiiruna is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Kiiruna drops his hands momentarily and Maul takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Maul punishes Kiiruna's body with a nice straight punch.
The crowd cheers as Maul lands an impressive looking overhand right. Kiiruna doesn't seem phased though.
Maul displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Kiiruna throws out the jab.
A little jabbing left from Maul on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

Maul takes one to the side of the head.

Kiiruna throws a poor cross that misses
and Maul counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Maul avoids the body shot from Kiiruna.
Kiiruna misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Maul.
Kiiruna staying out of range there.
Donk. Maul catches Kiiruna right on the button with a cross.
Maul misses with an uppercut
and Kiiruna counters with a nice uppercut.
Kiiruna misses with a looping left.
Kiiruna cracks Maul with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Maul's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Maul duly obliges.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Maul works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
A big left from Maul misses.
It looked like Kiiruna wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Kiiruna avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Kiiruna moves away from the strike by Maul.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Kiiruna swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Kiiruna fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Maul manages to avoid it.

Kiiruna lands with a good body shot.
Kiiruna dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Kiiruna throws a predictable looking body shot
and Maul counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Maul lands with an overhand left.
Maul drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Kiiruna right on the button. Kiiruna goes down! Maul follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Maul gets the win via TKO!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Paul Maul!
Paul Maul spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
