The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gamura fails with the takedown.
Gamura pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Gamura tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Morse paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Morse appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.

Morse has closed the distance and engaged Gamura in a clinch.
Morse prevents a takedown attempt there.
Gamura tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Morse avoids it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Morse in particular looking to stall.

Morse turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Morse manages to end up in side control.

Gamura jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Morse walks away with a smile on his face. Gamura gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Morse is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Gamura defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Gamura turns into Morse and is now in his guard.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Morse bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Gamura's guard.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Gamura gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
