Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Akamai Hoi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lou Ferrigno (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hoi comes to the cage accompanied by Blood Red Sky. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Jeff Smith and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ferrigno dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Ferrigno throws a right hand that Hoi ducks under and follows up with a left that Hoi also avoids with ease.
Ferrigno has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Hoi is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Ferrigno throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
It looked like Hoi was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Ferrigno throws a looping overhand right but Hoi ducks down to avoid it.
Hoi has been working on his boxing with his coaches at The Cooker in the buildup to the fight.
Ferrigno misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Hoi darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Ferrigno tries to bum rush Hoi with a series of wild strikes but Hoi uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Ferrigno throws an off balance right hand
and Hoi counters with a nice kick to the body.
Hoi lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Ferrigno cracks Hoi with a good jab.
Ferrigno misses with a wild body shot.
Hoi appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Ferrigno misses with a hook
and Hoi counters with a stiff right hand.
Hoi misses the shot to the body.
Hoi with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Hoi showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Ferrigno.
Ferrigno will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

and Hoi finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Hoi connects with a leg kick. Ferrigno looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Ferrigno misses with a right hand
and Hoi counters with a crisp one two that drops Ferrigno! Hoi thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Ferrigno to his feet! Ferrigno is in big trouble!
Ferrigno looks winded!

and Hoi counters with a thumping low kick.
Hoi connects with a single shot there.
Hoi lands a big uppercut and Ferrigno crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Ferrigno looks OK. Hoi waves Ferrigno back to his feet!
Ferrigno is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Hoi lands with a nice body kick.
Hoi jabs Ferrigno to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Hoi moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Hoi lands a big uppercut and this one is all over! His foe lies motionless on the canvas - a massive one punch knockout!

Our winner, Akamai Hoi, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
