Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Spanky Spangler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Douglas Kopejtka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Spangler comes into the arena with WHITE LIGHTNING-by AB blaring out of the sound system. Douglas Kopejtka is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

8 - 9 - 0, fighting out of New York, Douglas Kopejtka!
The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Matheus Silva and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kopejtka misses with the combination.
Spangler throws a right hand that Kopejtka ducks under and follows up with a left that Kopejtka also avoids with ease.
A decent looking cross lands there for Spangler.
Spangler doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Kopejtka misses with a takedown attempt - Spangler sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Spangler lands with a nice body punch.
Kopejtka shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Spangler is looking for a counter combo.
Kopejtka with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Spangler counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Spanky Spangler has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Douglas Kopejtka.

Kopejtka takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Kopejtka scores with the left hand. Spangler knows he should have avoided that one.

Spangler scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Kopejtka doesn't seem bothered though.

Kopejtka shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Spangler as he jumps to the side.
Kopejtka lands a really nice looking cross but Spangler seems unphased.
Douglas Kopejtka seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Spangler misses the jab.
Spangler throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Kopejtka throws a head kick that misses
and Spangler counters with a straight right hand.
Spangler throws a hook to the side of Kopejtka's head but Kopejtka sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Despite the aggression on Kopejtka's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Spangler throws a big shot that misses.
Kopejtka has his takedown stuffed
and Spangler cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Spangler is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Spangler slips a jab and a cross from Kopejtka.
Spangler takes a swing at Kopejtka's ribcage but misses.
Kopejtka closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Kopejtka lands in his opponent's guard.
Spangler wants to stand up but Kopejtka is controlling him.
Spangler is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Spangler manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.

Kopejtka breaks from the clinch.
Kopejtka darts in looking for a takedown but Spangler gets double underhooks and turns Kopejtka into the cage.
Spangler is looking for a counter combo.
Kopejtka shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Spangler as he jumps to the side.
Spangler seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Spangler lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Kopejtka circles away quickly and effectively.
Kopejtka darts in looking for a takedown but Spangler gets double underhooks and turns Kopejtka into the cage.
Spangler throws a big counter combination but Kopejtka scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Kopejtka lands a head kick. Spangler smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Kopejtka throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Spangler counters with a nice uppercut.
Kopejtka takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Spangler connects with a single shot there.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Kopejtka falls off balance throwing a combination
and Spangler counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Kopejtka thinking.
Kopejtka closes the distance and clinches up with Spangler, looking for a takedown. Kopejtka pushes Spangler against the cage but Spangler circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Spangler lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Kopejtka backs up against the cage.
It looks like Douglas Kopejtka has been cut.
Spangler lands with a hook. Kopejtka tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Kopejtka throws a left and a right that both miss
and Spangler counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Kopejtka is rocked!
Kopejtka takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Kopejtka is still on wobbly legs! Can Spangler finish him?
Kopejtka looks winded!
Spangler cracks Kopejtka with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Spangler throws a nice looking combination but Kopejtka bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Spangler cracks Kopejtka's jaw with two stiff jabs then ducks low and throws a soul-severing right uppercut to the mouth!! Kopejtka slumps to the ground with blood on his lips. The referee steps in before Spangler can do further damage! This one is done, son!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Spanky Spangler!
Spanky Spangler decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
