Shaw comes into the arena with Silver Bullet - Bring Forth The Guillotine blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shaw misses with an uppercut.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Karlsson crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Shaw - the referee stops the clock and Karlsson gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Shaw. Karlsson manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Karlsson looks to land a left hand but Shaw moved out of range nicely.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

We've been informed that Karlsson has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Shaw lands a head kick. Karlsson smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Shaw uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Karlsson has time to react.

Shaw takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

and Shaw counters with a perfectly timed head kick, knocking Karlsson out cold! Wow, that took some serious skill and not a little luck! Shaw is taking it in his stride though, strolling around like it's no big deal. What a guy.
