Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, DJ Dillafoshaw!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jordan James!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Frank Dennis and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dillafoshaw looks to throw the jab but James is out of range.
James throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Dillafoshaw on the side of the head.
James works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Dillafoshaw tries to clinch but James moves out of range.
James avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
James works over Dillafoshaw's head and body with a nice combination.
James's corner calls for a 1-2. James obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

James rushes Dillafoshaw and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

James breaks the clinch.
Dillafoshaw looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.


It looks like DJ Dillafoshaw has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Dillafoshaw tries to clinch but James moves away
and James counters with a straight right hand.
DJ Dillafoshaw is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Dillafoshaw misses with a combination
and James counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Dillafoshaw moves forwards but James connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Dillafoshaw doesn't manage to clinch there - James circles away.
James throws a fast counter high kick but Dillafoshaw manages to duck under it in time.
James comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

James fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Dillafoshaw, pushing him back against the cage.
James blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
James looking to stall.
Dillafoshaw misses with a knee strike.
Dillafoshaw looks to throw an elbow but misses.
Dillafoshaw misses with an elbow strike.

James decides to pull guard.
James managing to control the position.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
James is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

James has his feet on Dillafoshaw's thighs here. He's pushed Dillafoshaw off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Dillafoshaw screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Jordan James!
Jordan James tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
