Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Roberto Bianchi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrei Hudson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Andrei Hudson struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 172.4lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Andrei Hudson looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Roberto Bianchi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Andrei Hudson!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Frank Dennis and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hudson throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Bianchi looks to land a combination but Hudson avoids it well.
Hudson throws a nice looking combination but Bianchi bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Bianchi tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Hudson manages to circle out of the way.
Horrible takedown attempt by Hudson or perhaps it was just good defense by Bianchi, which made it look bad.
Bianchi half committed to a counter leg kick.
Hudson tries to land a front kick but Bianchi steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Hudson misses with an attempted mid kick.
Hudson throws a body kick that misses.

Hudson throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Bianchi is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Hudson walks into a straight right hand from Bianchi.
Hudson tries to close the distance and clinch up but Bianchi swats him away and circles back towards the center.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Bianchi counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Hudson is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Bianchi tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Hudson defends well and Bianchi ends up having to push Hudson into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Hudson got a little sloppy there for a moment and Bianchi has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Hudson has managed to get both his arms back between Bianchi's legs - danger averted.
Hudson must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Bianchi working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Hudson doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Hudson manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bianchi seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Bianchi connects with a body shot that sends Hudson's belly button to the back.

Oooooh!!! Bianchi has knocked Hudson down with a huge combo! Bianchi steps away and waves a wobbly Hudson back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Bianchi is looking to wear down Hudson with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Bianchi shoots in for a takedown but Hudson shows good takedown defense.

Hudson has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Hudson displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Bianchi.

Bianchi shoots in for a double leg but Hudson sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Bianchi obliges.

A head kick from Bianchi lands but Hudson takes it in his stride.
Bianchi is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Hudson can do to turn this around?
Bianchi clobbers Hudson with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Bianchi lets loose with a powerful body kick. Hudson will feel that in the morning.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Bianchi sizes up Hudson with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

Hudson should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Bianchi pushes Hudson off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Bianchi throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Bianchi ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Bianchi no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Hudson throws a strike but Bianchi rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Bianchi slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Hudson can do anything to dispel that myth.
Bianchi pushes down on Hudson's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Bianchi works his way into side control.
Hudson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bianchi. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Hudson lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Bianchi is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Hudson takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Bianchi lands a big head kick that sends Hudson tumbling to the mat! Bianchi takes a step backwards and waves Hudson back to his feet - he wants the finish!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
BOOM! Bianchi lands a beautiful left hook that drops Hudson. Hudson tries to recover but Bianchi is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Hudson lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
