Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chris Robinson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sam Hades (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hades has chosen Bon Jovi: Wanted Dead Or Alive as his entrance music. On his way into the cage it seems that Chris Robinson has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Chris Robinson seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

19 - 16 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Sam Hades!
The judges for this bout are Ben Watson, Bruno Hogan and Ron Honeybunn.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hades missing with a left hand there. Robinson was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Sam Hades seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hades throws a leg kick but Robinson sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Hades fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Robinson shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Hades napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Robinson tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Hades tries to improve position but can't.
Robinson in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Hades looks to move to half guard but instead Robinson has passed into mount! Damn!
Hades told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.
Hades tries to reverse the position but Robinson maintains control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Robinson is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Hades can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
It looks like Sam Hades has been cut.
Hades tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Robinson lands a big elbow - Hades is in trouble! More strikes from the mount and Hades is forced to tap out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Chris Robinson!
