PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Zhi Wung (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shaka Zoula (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wung has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Shaka Zoula is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Zhi Wung!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Shaka Zoula!
The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Santiago Holmes and Daniel Franklin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Zoula gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Wung is breathing heavily.
Wung tries to break free but Zoula pushes him back against the cage.

Zoula escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Zoula lands a big head kick that sends Wung tumbling to the mat! Zoula takes a step backwards and waves Wung back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Wung is rocked!

Zoula rushes Wung and presses him up against the cage.
Oh Wung is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Zoula's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Zoula has the Thai clinch. He lands a big knee to the head that stumbles Wung - he's in trouble! Another big knee to the head from Zoula, and another! Wung is out on his feet - the ref jumps in to save him and ends the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knees). Shaka Zoula!
