Hunter has chosen Hair of the Dog/ Nazareth as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A swing and a miss from Hunter.
Hunter throws a lazy right hand but Volker sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Hunter clobbers Volker with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Hunter moves out of range of the strikes.
Volker throws a jab when Hunter was well out of range.
Stewart Hunter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Volker ducks under a wild hook from Hunter.
Volker feinted with a counter takedown.
Volker pivots, looking for a leg kick but Hunter is out of range and Volker settles back down.
Hunter clobbers Volker with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hunter scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Volker takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Hunter cracks Volker with a good jab.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Hunter lands a nice shot that snaps Volker's head back.
Volker looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Hunter has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.

Hunter stuns Volker with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Hunter misses with a wild body shot.
Volker waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Hunter.
Volker throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Hunter drives through with a takedown into Volker's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Hunter missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Hunter with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Hunter throws a big right hand that misses.
Hunter postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

Volker is rocked!
Hunter has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Hunter postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Volker covers up, he's hurt! Hunter keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Hunter and the ref steps in to end the fight! Hunter can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
