Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Mack (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Burt Windboy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mack's entrance music is Hard Sun. A fine choice. Burt Windboy has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Johnny Mack's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Johnny Mack!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Burt Windboy!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Chad Campbell and Reed Andrews.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mack gets caught flat footed, as Windboy shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Windboy drops back looking for a leg! Mack is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Mack manages to kick Windboy off! Windboy jumps back into Mack's guard.

Mack escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Windboy gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Mack wants to sweep here but Windboy controlling him for the moment.
Windboy passes Mack's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Mack missing with punches from the bottom.

Mack is defending against the submission attempts here by Windboy.
Windboy is trying to control the action in half guard but Mack is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Mack manages to escape and get back to his feet!
Windboy keeps the fight on the outside.
A swing and a miss from Mack.
Windboy shoots in but Mack avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Mack misses with a head kick.
A telegraphed right hand from Mack misses the target.

Windboy fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Mack sprawls well initially but Windboy persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Mack wants to improve his position but Windboy is controlling well.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Mack is trying to stand back up but Windboy is controlling him
Mack makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Mack.
Mack looking for a sweep. Not yet Mack, not yet.
Windboy trying to control but Mack is working from the bottom.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Mack bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Windboy's guard.

Mack tries to stand but Windboy is controlling from the bottom.
Mack makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

Windboy working for a triangle but Mack defends it easily.
Windboy looks gassed!

Windboy has his foot on Mack's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Mack works his way back into a safe position though.

Mack decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Mack misses with a head kick.
Windboy walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Windboy throws a nice head kick!
Nice sprawl there from Mack as Windboy shoots in.
Mack with a hook.
Mack misses with a low kick.
Mack looks to land a right hand but Windboy moved out of range.
Windboy shoots in and drives through. Mack sprawls well.
Johnny Mack has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Burt Windboy.

Mack throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Windboy circles away from the clinch attempt.
Windboy keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.

Mack fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Windboy, pushing him back against the cage.

Mack jumps into guard, dragging Windboy to the mat.

Mack is looking for a triangle but Windboy pushes his legs off easily.
Windboy trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Mack pushes a forearm under Windboy's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Windboy is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
