Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Brodie Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ratko Malich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Williams comes to the cage accompanied by Back To Back. Malich comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Behemoth - O Father O Satan O Sun kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Brodie Williams has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Malich is trying to drag Williams to the mat but Williams just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Williams throws a strike but Malich rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Malich shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Williams but Williams pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Williams decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Malich is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Williams's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Williams's back!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Malich has both hooks in and is working for a choke. Williams is in real trouble here. Malich gets an arm under the chin and tightens the submission attempt... is this the end? Yes, Williams is tapping out! Malich wins by rear naked choke!

Ratko Malich was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
