The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Matthews misses the shot to the body.
A quick step to the side and Kelly tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Matthews has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Kelly is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Matthews tries to clinch there but Kelly circles away.
Matthews fails in his attempt to clinch.
Kelly uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Matthews.
Kelly throws a right hand that Matthews ducks under and follows up with a left that Matthews also avoids with ease.
Kelly takes a swing at Matthews's ribcage but misses.
Matthews fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kelly manages to avoid it.
Kelly throws a quick counter kick to the body but Matthews avoids it.
Kelly tries a head kick but it misses.
Matthews shoots for a double leg takedown but Kelly sprawls well. He's pushed Matthews's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Matthews scores with a three punch combo!
It looks like Jim Kelly has been cut.
Kelly lands a nice looking body kick.

Kelly lands a nice elbow from the clinch.

Kelly lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Matthews backwards.

Kelly pulls back and lands a big elbow that stuns Matthews! Kelly unloads with more strikes and Matthews sinks to his knees! This one is all over!
