Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Unkown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and IP Freely (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Unkown comes to the cage accompanied by I.C.P. BITCHES! MIRrorCulZ. Freely has chosen The Trooper as his entrance music. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Freely shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Unkown manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Freely working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
Freely trying to control the position from guard on top but Unkown is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Freely throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Unkown was covering up waiting for the punch and Freely finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Freely stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Unkown swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Unkown manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Unkown throws a nice looking combination but Freely bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Freely turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Freely manages to end up in side control.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Freely feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
