The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Prime misses with a right hand

and Simpson counters with a single leg into guard. Prime didn't expect that.
Prime wants to sweep here but Simpson controlling him for the moment.
Simpson trying to control the position from guard on top but Prime is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Prime pulls Simpson in close to prevent any damage.
Prime will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Simpson controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Prime has Simpson pulled in close to control his posture.

Prime trying to keep a closed guard but Simpson is proving a slippery customer.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Prime bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Simpson's guard.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Prime throws a looping overhand right but Simpson ducks down to avoid it.
A swing and a miss from Prime.
Simpson with the counter takedown but Prime avoids it easily.

Prime cracks Simpson with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Simpson looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Prime finish him?
Crack! Prime connects with the perfect overhand right and Simpson falls face first to the canvas. Timbeeeeeeeer! Beautiful knockout for Prime!
