The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fredrickson lands a body shot.

Fredrickson forces Mousasi back against the cage and clinches.

Mousasi has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Fredrickson regains guard immediately.
Fredrickson wants to sweep here but Mousasi controlling him for the moment.

Mousasi trying to control the position from guard on top but Fredrickson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Mousasi would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Fredrickson is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Mousasi is trying to stand up here but Fredrickson is controlling him well.

Fredrickson passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Mousasi!
Fredrickson has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Mousasi's face.

Mousasi's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
