Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Simon Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thomas Hearns (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Williams might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to UFC: Closer to the Edge (Jared Leto). Hearns has chosen Black Eyed Bruiser as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 25 - 25 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Thomas Hearns!
The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Ivan Kurochkin and Valeri Chadov.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williams swings and misses with a hook to the body.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Hearns! But no joy.
Williams goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Hearns keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Williams jabs Hearns right on the nose. Hearns blinks but takes it well.

It looks like Thomas Hearns has been cut.
Williams avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Thomas Hearns seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Williams seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Williams misses with a straight left.
A combination from Hearns does no damage.
Williams pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Hearns is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Hearns throws a low kick, looking for Williams's leg but Williams calmly moves out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hearns looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Hearns connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Williams momentarily.
Williams has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Hearns.
Hearns tries to close the distance and clinch up but Williams swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Hearns tries to land a front kick but Williams steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Williams misses with a jab, cross combination.
Williams swings for the body but Hearns moves out of range.

Williams works Hearns's body with a nice hook.
Hearns ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Williams moves away.
Williams throws a counter high kick but Hearns was just alert enough to avoid it.
Williams throws a lazy uppercut
and Hearns counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Hearns tries to move into range but Williams moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Some bone on bone action there as Hearns checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Donk. Hearns catches Williams right on the button with a cross.
Williams throws a head kick but Hearns moves out of range.
We've been informed that Hearns has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Williams's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Williams duly obliges.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Williams throws an overhand right that lands on Hearns's shoulder, as Hearns tries to avoid the shot.
Williams throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
A combination from Hearns does no damage.
Williams lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
Williams lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Hearns misses with a jab, cross combination.

Williams blocks a head kick by Hearns.
Williams throws a body shot but no joy.
Williams swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Hearns.

Hearns is rocked!
I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Williams has cracked Hearns with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Williams lands another huge swinging hook and Hearns tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Hearns, before Williams can land any more shots!
