Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hale Erwin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gabriel Washington (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Erwin has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A left lands for Washington.
Washington uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Erwin.

Washington throws a hook to the side of Erwin's head but Erwin sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Washington throws some wild stikes that Erwin manages to avoid easily.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
