Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Hank Hughes!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Milo Coors!
The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Paulo Santos and Leandro Rodrigues.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Coors feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Hughess jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Hughes gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Coors comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Good exchange - Coors coming out on top.
Coors ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Hughes stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Hughes wants it to stay on the feet.
Coors ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Hughes moves away.
Hughes tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Coors manages to circle out of the way.
Coors tests Hughes's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Coors dips to his left and cracks Hughes with an uppercut!
Coors lands a right hook to the body.
Milo Coors seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hughes doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Coors counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Hughes!
Hughes tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.

Coors missing with punches from the back.
Coors missing with strikes.
Hughes trying to control but not successfully.
Coors misses with an elbow to the head.

Coors tightening his grip on Hughes, looking for the choke.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Coors throwing sloppy strikes.

Coors has managed to slip his arm under Hughes's chin. This could be all over... yep, Hughes is tapping out! Submission win for Coors.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Milo Coors!
