The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Anderson closes the distance and clinches.
Diaz misses with a hook from the clinch.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Anderson creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Anderson prevents a body shot from Diaz.
Anderson lands with a light punch inside.
Anderson digs a right hand into Diaz's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Diaz's gas tank.
Anderson lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Diaz backwards.
Diaz struggles to land a body shot inside as Anderson controls his hands.
Diaz misses with a punch on the inside.
Diaz tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Diaz takes a shot to the head.
Diaz jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Anderson walks away with a smile on his face. Diaz gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Anderson darts in and clinches Diaz up against the cage.
Anderson works on Diaz's body with a couple of short punches.
Diaz is breathing heavily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A short body shot lands from Anderson as the two fighters clinch.
Anderson lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Diaz backwards.
Anderson lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Diaz or not.
Anderson digs a right hand into Diaz's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Diaz's gas tank.
Anderson lands a left hand.

Diaz is rocked!
Anderson pushes Diaz against the cage. Anderson is working some dirty boxing. Anderson pushes off with a quick right hook! Diaz goes down! Diaz tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Anderson moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!
