The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Sosuke Kotani and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Burnett gets caught napping as Mitchell dives in and scores a takedown. Burnett manages to retain guard.
Burnett is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

Burnett got a little sloppy there for a moment and Mitchell has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Burnett has managed to get both his arms back between Mitchell's legs - danger averted.

Mitchell shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Burnett manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Burnett has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Mitchell has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.
Mitchell jumps guard and drags Burnett to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Burnett stands up and waves to Mitchell to follow him.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
You can see the frustration on Burnett's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Burnett bucks up and tries to throw Mitchell off but instead Mitchell has got his back!
Mitchell is not going to allow Burnett to sit and survive in this position.

Mitchell is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Burnett knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Burnett for a finish.

I really don't envy Burnett right now.
Mitchell working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Burnett is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Mitchell has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Burnett taps out!
