Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ted Hernandez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pho Duc Van (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Steven Brown and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Duc Van tries to clinch there but Hernandez circles away.
Hernandez feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Duc Van pushes Hernandez off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Hernandez avoids the head kick by Duc Van.
Hernandez drops down looking for a counter takedown but Duc Van sprawls and moves away.

Hernandez really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Duc Van shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Hernandez manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Duc Van kicks off Hernandez and gets to his feet.
Hernandez gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Duc Van to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Hernandez is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Duc Van is controlling him.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Ted Hernandez.
I think Hernandez has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
