Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Yushin Fujita (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Loke Nord (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fujita kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Koto - Jabdah. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fujita looks to land a combination. Nord sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Nord swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Fujita blocks a head kick by Nord.
Fujita lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Nord at a distance.
Fujita looks for a takedown but Nord sprawls well.
Nord throws a series of punches but Fujita moves out of range.
Nord plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!

It looks like Yushin Fujita has been cut.
Fujita lands a jab to the head.
Nord looks to land a body kick but Fujita moved away.
Yushin Fujita seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fujita moves out of range as Nord throws a body kick.
Nord connects with a solid leg kick.
Fujita misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Nord is looking to clinch but Fujita is avoiding it.
Fujita feints and then cracks Nord's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Nord down.
Nord tries to close the distance and clinch but Fujita swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Fujita blocks the body kick.
Nord throws a head kick that misses.
Nice body punch from Fujita.
Fujita shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Nord as he avoids it easily.
Nord stuffs the takedown attempt from Fujita. Fujita gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Yushin Fujita. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Fujita throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Fujita fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Nord takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

Nord is struggling to control the position.

Nord checks the leg kick nicely there.
A left and a right from Nord both land. Nice combination.
Fujita throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Nord gets cracked there but stands up to it.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Nord swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Fujita counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Loke Nord is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Good leg kick by Nord there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Fujita scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Nord doesn't seem bothered though.
Fujita misses the shot to the body.

Nord misses with the combination.
Nord throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.

Nord wants to clinch up but Fujita keeps it at a distance.

and Fujita counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Fujita lands with a nice combination. Nord backs away looking to recover.
Fujita digs a good body shot into Nord's ribs.
Nord closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Fujita looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Nord!
Nord is looking to improve his position but Fujita isn't that keen on the idea.

Fujita working for a guillotine from mount but Nord is in no mood to give up.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Nord is bucking up trying to escape but Fujita cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Nord tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Fujita working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Nord looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Fujita! Submission of the night perhaps?
