Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Laurence Pena (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kamil Bedorf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bedorf has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! Laurence Pena had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pena moves into the clinch.

Pena jumps guard but Bedorf turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Pena is pulling down on Bedorf's head. It's preventing any offense from Bedorf, at least for the moment.
Pena is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Pena is nestled in close to Bedorf, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Bedorf pushes Pena off but Pena dives into side control.

Pena is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Bedorf can do to turn this around?
Pena has hold of Bedorf's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Bedorf tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Pena cranks the arm and Bedorf screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Bedorf, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
