Zapata comes to the cage accompanied by Rage Against The Machine - Killing In The Name. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Murgen scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Zapata shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Murgen as he jumps to the side.
Zapata tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Murgen defends well and Zapata ends up having to push Murgen into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Murgen forces Zapata back against the cage and clinches.
Zapata has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Murgen after a bit of a struggle.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Eduardo Zapata. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Zapata has clasped his hands together around Murgen's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
Zapata tries to move into full mount but can't pass Murgen's legs.

Zapata has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Zapata looks up at the clock and then as Murgen takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Zapata smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Zapata works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Murgen tries to buck Zapata off but Zapata is having none of it.
Murgen wants to get back to his feet but Zapata is dominant here and he's now got Murgen's back!
Zapata lands a shot to the body.
Zapata throws a series of strikes and Murgen wriggles onto his back, so he's now mounted. He's in real trouble here.

Zapata unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Murgen wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Zapata celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
