Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ways clinches.

Three pulls guard successfully.
Ways controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Three wants to sweep but no luck.
Three not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Three can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Ways controls the pace.
Ways throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Three works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ways wants to pass the guard but Three is keeping the position.
Ways engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Ways creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Three jumps guard and drags Ways to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Ways tries to clinch up but Three circles away and keeps his distance.

Three keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Three! But no joy.
Ways looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Ways decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Three, up you get!
Three throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Ways takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Winner Three seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Winner Three is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Ways tries to score a power double leg takedown but Three sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Ways somewhat.

and Ways decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Three's guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Three wants to improve his position but instead Ways has moved into half guard.
Three is breathing heavily.
Ways drops an elbow to the side of Three's head.
Three really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ways. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Ways lands a nice short elbow.

Ways is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Three is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
