The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marlow misses with a head kick.

Marlow throws a nice head kick!

It looks like Boom Shot has been cut.
Shot takes a kick to the side of the head.
Shot uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Marlow throws a sloppy head kick and Shot moves out of range easily.
Shot tries to counter by clinching up but Marlow breaks away and moves out of range.
Marlow pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Reggie Marlow seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

A quick step to the side and Shot tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.

Shot swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Marlow is looking to clinch.

and Shot counters with a stiff right hand.
Marlow misses with a head kick.
Shot seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Marlow slips a straight right by Shot.
Marlow replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Shot blocks it well.
Boom Shot is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
A decent looking cross lands there for Shot.
Marlow throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Shot throws the left hand but Marlow avoids the punch easily.
Marlow is clearly looking to counter with head kicks.
Marlow misses with a head kick.
Marlow darts in looking for a takedown but Shot gets double underhooks and turns Marlow into the cage.
Good leg kick by Marlow there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

An attempted straight right counter from Shot misses the target.
Marlow throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Shot's head.

and Shot counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Shot.
Marlow wants to break free but Shot has control.
Shot lands a shoulder strike.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Marlow fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Boom Shot has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Reggie Marlow.
Shot lands a right hand.
Shot doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Marlow tries to break free but Shot pushes him back against the cage.
Shot works on Marlow's body with a couple of short punches.

A left hand lands to the body for Shot.

Shot can't find room to land a body shot as Marlow controls the action.
Shot lands with a left to the head.

A right hook to the body lands for Shot.
Marlow's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Shot lands with a short head shot on the inside.

Shot breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Shot pushing out the jab but it's not landing.

Marlow tries a head kick but it misses.
Shot fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Marlow on the side of the head.
Marlow pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Marlow throws a sloppy head kick and Shot moves out of range easily.
Shot throws a jab when Marlow was well out of range.
Shot throws a hook to the side of Marlow's head but Marlow sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Shot lands a left and a right that send Marlow crashing to the mat, dazed. Shot thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like Reggie Marlow has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Marlow throws a head kick that misses.

Marlow throws a sloppy head kick
and Shot counters with a right hand to the body.
Shot swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Shot fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Marlow looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Shot lands a jab to Marlow's midsection.
Shot connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Marlow momentarily.
Marlow moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Marlow is rocked!
Shot works Marlow's body with a nice hook.
Marlow is still on wobbly legs! Can Shot finish him?
Marlow looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Shot drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Marlow right on the button. Marlow goes down! Shot follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Shot gets the win via TKO!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Boom Shot!
