The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice defenses there by Dickens.
Boss tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Dickens was well out of range. Poor timing from Boss.
Boss misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Boss misses with a body shot.

Dickens drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Boss is looking to reverse the position.
Dickens working the ground and pound.
Boss is working to avoid the ground and pound but Dickens connects with a decent elbow.
Dickens is chipping away with strikes.
Dickens looks up at the clock and then as Boss takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Dickens smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Dickens grinds an elbow into Boss's temple.
Dickens lands a decent elbow from side control.

Dickens tries for a kimura but Boss is defending well.
Dickens cracks Boss with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Dickens has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Dickens works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Dickens is looking to take a break and control but Boss is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Boss takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dickens scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Boss is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Dickens can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
