Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gatmaitan will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Gatmaitan rushes Gacov and presses him up against the cage.
Gatmaitan with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Gatmaitan lands with a light punch inside.
Gacov tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Gatmaitan just stands there and leans against the cage.
Gatmaitan prevents Gacov from breaking the clinch.
Gacov blocks a body shot from Gatmaitan.

Gacov gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.

Gatmaitan manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Gacov keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Gacov wants to take the fight to the mat but Gatmaitan manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Gatmaitan lands a left hand that snaps the head of Gacov backwards.
Gacov tries to pull guard but Gatmaitan won't allow it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Baco Gacov. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Gatmaitan scores with a nice hook to the head.
Gatmaitan lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Gacov throws a punch but it's blocked by Gatmaitan.
Gatmaitan lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
Gatmaitan digs a right hand into Gacov's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Gacov's gas tank.
Gacov stalling in the clinch but Gatmaitan improves position.
Gatmaitan is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Gatmaitan lands a right hand that snaps the head of Gacov backwards.
Gacov tries for a takedown. No joy.
Gatmaitan scores with an uppercut up the middle.

Gacov tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Gatmaitan smiles and moves away.
Gacov is breathing heavily.
Gacov slips a jab and a cross from Gatmaitan.
Gacov tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Gatmaitan manages to circle out of the way.
Gatmaitan cracks Gacov with a right hand to the side of the head.

It looks like Baco Gacov has been cut.
Gatmaitan lands with a right and another and another! Gacov is in big trouble! Gatmaitan lands again and this time it's lights out for Gacov! A quality knockout there for Gatmaitan.
