The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rambler throws a body punch but Myers moves out of range.
Myers tries to counter by clinching up but Rambler breaks away and moves out of range.

Rambler moves into the clinch successfully.
Myers is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Rambler to keep the fight standing.
Rambler misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Myers.

Rambler tightens his grip and picks Myers up, before dumping him to the ground. Myers manages to land in guard.

Rambler postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Myers is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Rambler, into his guard.

Rambler manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Myers manages to get himself to full guard.

Myers utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Rambler throws an elbow that misses. Myers uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Rambler's guard. Nice move by Myers!

Myers wants to stand but Rambler has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Rambler wants to sweep here but Myers controlling him for the moment.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Myers is looking to work some ground and pound but Rambler has wrist control.

Rambler isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Myers stacks Rambler on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Myers!
Rambler is looking to reverse the position.

Myers stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Myers uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Rambler.
As Rambler tries to get set, Myers tries to push him back and clinch up but Rambler manages to avoid the attempt.

Rambler misses with a jab, cross combination.

Rambler shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Myers's guard.
Rambler is looking to work some ground and pound but Myers has wrist control.

Rambler drops back, looking for a kneebar! Myers looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Myers looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Myers!

Rambler seems to be going for a rear naked choke. He has an arm under Myers's chin but Myers turns very nicely into Rambler's guard. Good BJJ skills being displayed there by Myers.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Myers is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Myers wants to stand but Rambler has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
