Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jackson Dredd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Puppy Love (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Love has chosen Otherside by Mackemore X Ryan Lewis as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 36 - 25 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Puppy Love!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dredd misses the body punch
and Love counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Love's jab looks to have found its range, popping Dredd under the eye.
Some wild striking there from Dredd.
Dredd lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Dredd uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Love.
Dredd dips to his left and cracks Love with an uppercut!
Love lands a head shot.

Love looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Dredd pulls Love in close to his closed guard and prevents Love from doing any damage or advancing position.
Love with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.

Love is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Love postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Love cracks Dredd with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
A bone on bone clash there as Love blocks the leg kick.
Love takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

Dredd gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Dredd is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Dredd had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Love defends it easily.

Love is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Dredd pulls Love in close to prevent any damage.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Dredd has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Puppy Love dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Love misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Dredd.

Some bone on bone action there as Love checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Love has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Dredd tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Dredd throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Love tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Dredd is in Love's guard.
Love keeping moving, preventing Dredd from controlling successfully.

Love wants to control the pace but Dredd is squirming around nicely.
Love breaks from Dredd's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Oh Dredd is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Dredd tries to reverse the position but Love maintains control.
Love cracks Dredd with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
