Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dork Fish (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Franklin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Franklin has chosen Slaughterhouse-WoodStock as his entrance music. Jake Franklin has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dork Fish! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jake Franklin! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, William Peck and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Franklin takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Fish on the wrong end of a nice jab.
It looks like Dork Fish has been cut. Fish shoots in but no luck this time. A punch combination from Franklin misses. Franklin throws the left hand but Fish avoids the punch easily. Fish tests Franklin's chin there with a solid looking shot. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Fish throws a good cross that connects.
A decent looking cross lands there for Fish. Franklin keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Franklin gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Franklin misses with the combination.
Franklin pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Fish fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dork Fish. That's going to take a lot out of him. Fish slips a straight right by Franklin. Fish lands a nice shot that snaps Franklin's head back.
Franklin takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Franklin looks gassed! Franklin takes a swing at Fish's ribcage but misses. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Fish uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Franklin. Franklin ducks straight into an uppercut from Fish and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Franklin maanges to regain guard straight away.
Franklin is rocked! Fish drops back looking for a leg! Franklin is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Franklin manages to kick Fish off! Fish jumps back into Franklin's guard. Franklin is still in real trouble! Can Fish finish him? Fish thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Franklin seems to have recovered his senses.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Fish misses with the combination.

Fish closes this distance looking for a takedown but Franklin circles away. Franklin has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Fish finds it's way round the side to connect with Franklin's head. Franklin swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Fish is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. A jab from Fish finds it's way through Franklin's defenses. Franklin connects with a single shot there. Franklin loads up on a big right hand but Fish slips the punch. Franklin throws a series of punches but Fish avoids them all with ease. Fish uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Franklin has time to react. Fish lands with a cross. Fish feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Fish looking to pass the guard. Fish drops back looking for a leg! Franklin is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Franklin manages to kick Fish off! Fish jumps back into Franklin's guard. Fish is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Fish connects with a solid leg kick. Fish throws a series of punches but Franklin avoids them all with ease. The fight moves into the clinch position. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Fish lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Franklin or not. Fish manages to pull guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dork Fish dominated that round. The cut man is working on Dork Fish's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Fish connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Franklin's hands. Fish cracks Franklin with a right hand to the side of the head. A telegraphed right hand from Franklin misses the target. A right-left combo lands from Fish. Franklin takes a body punch but keeps moving. Fish gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Fish fails to pull guard.

A shot in the inside from Fish. Franklin drops down looking for an ankle pick but Fish pulls his leg out and moves away.

Franklin manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Fish with a hook. Franklin is breathing heavily. This has been an exciting period of action! Fish tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Franklin paws at him with a jab and circles away. Fish throws a right and a left that both miss. Fish lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Fish. Franklin takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Fish is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Franklin doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Fish. Franklin is trying to stand up here but Fish is controlling him well. Fish works his foot free and advances to mount. Fish has hold of Franklin's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Franklin manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fish looking to secure an arm triangle but Franklin defends it well. Fish is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Franklin is surviving well by controlling Fish's body position as best he can. Franklin is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.

Franklin gets caught flat footed, as Fish shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Fish drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Fish jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Dork Fish is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Franklin kicks Fish off and gets to his feet. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Franklin scores with a punch to the head. Fish shoots in for a takedown but Franklin shows good takedown defense. Fish is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Franklin. Fish drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Franklin dodges the punch combination from Fish.
And that's the end of the fight! Dork Fish showed his dominance in that final round. Well Fish has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
