Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Choc Chip Shortbread (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shaun McTared (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McTared is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Llama song. Shaun McTared is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shortbread fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with McTared, pushing him back against the cage.
Shortbread lands a body shot in the clinch.
McTared can't break the clinch.
Shortbread fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

McTared's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Shortbread creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
McTared doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

McTared is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
McTared looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Shortbread knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for McTared on the ground.

McTared is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Shortbread is just riding it out for now. McTared eventually gives up the hold.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

McTared seems to be looking for submissions.
McTared wants to take a breather but Shortbread is having none of it.
McTared might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Shortbread haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

McTared seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Shortbread does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
