Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Huey Manley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lou Hole (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hole has chosen Louie Louie/ Motorhead as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Huey Manley!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Lou Hole!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Anthony Taglia and Russell Pearce.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Manley tries a head kick but it misses.
Hole thuds a left hand into Manley's body.
Manley uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Hole.
Hole fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Manley manages to avoid it.
Manley moves forwards but Hole connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Hole uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Hole throws a good cross that connects.
Lou Hole seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A shot to the liver by Hole. Beautiful body shot.
Hole throws a nice looking combination but Manley bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Manley takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Manley shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Manley working Hole over with strikes.
Manley has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Hole is looking to improve his position.
Manley looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Hole with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Hole is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Manley pulls his head out easily.
Hole is trying to get back to full guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Manley looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Hole on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Manley content to control rather than advance.
Manley seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Hole for as long as he can get away with.
Manley takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Manley winds up and cracks Hole with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Hole tries to kick Manley off but Manley keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Manley landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Hole slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Manley engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Our spies down at at Midnight MMA inform us that Hole has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?
Manley postures up and lands a big shot to Hole's brow.
Manley is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Manley trying to control the position from guard on top but Hole is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Manley is working Hole over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Hole has his foot on Manley's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Manley works his way back into a safe position though.

Hole has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Manley can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Manley's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Hole keeping moving, preventing Manley from controlling successfully.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Manley lands a couple of elbows.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Hole is on top in guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Manley is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Hole must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Hole trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Manley bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Hole's guard.

Manley lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Manley postures up and lands a big shot to Hole's brow.
Manley keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Hole's head.
Manley lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Hole had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Manley defends it easily.
Manley cracks Hole with a solid left hand.
Hole wants to stand and escape but Manley is having none of it.
Manley with a nice head shot there.
Manley showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
Manley working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Hole's head.


Hole is rocked!
Hole is trying to keep Manley in close.
Hole is still in real trouble! Can Manley finish him?
Manley arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Hole's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Huey Manley!
The defeated Lou Hole had this to say: 'What can I say you got me man'.
