The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harding wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Hancock could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Harding misses with a double jab.
Hancock fires out a quick counter leg kick but Harding just manages to avoid it.
Harding misses with a body kick.
Harding throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

It looks like Phillip Hancock has been cut.
Harding fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hancock manages to avoid it.
Harding throws a sloppy head kick
and Hancock counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Jonathan Harding seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
No luck for Hancock with that takedown attempt.

Hancock is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

A frustrated look appears on Harding's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Hancock on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

Hancock pulls guard effortlessly.
Hancock might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Harding stays in close to Hancock's body and controls the position.
Hancock seems keen to control Harding's posture.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Hancock wants to get back to his feet but Harding is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Harding throws a head kick but Hancock moves out of range.
Harding is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Harding throws a body shot but no joy.
Harding does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Hancock is looking to counter the offense by Harding and move into the clinch.
Harding throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Hancock.
Harding scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Hancock walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Hancock throws a head kick that misses.

Hancock shoots for a takedown but Harding saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Phillip Hancock. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Harding misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Harding slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Harding is pawing at Hancock, trying to feel the distance before throwing out a cross that crashes into Hancock's nose. Hancock is badly hurt! Harding pounces, throwing wild strikes as both fighters end up on the ground! Hancock tries desperately to hold on but Harding is relentless in his assault! As Hancock receives an ever increasing number of unanswered strikes the referee pulls Harding away and this one is in the books!
