Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Carlos Ryoku (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Gat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). John Gat looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Carlos Ryoku!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, John Gat!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Shirou Masuda and Tatsuya Matsuyama.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gat shoots for a double leg takedown but Ryoku sprawls well. He's pushed Gat's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Gat shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Horrible takedown by Gat or perhaps it was just good defense by Ryoku which made him look bad.
Carlos Ryoku has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Gat.

Ryoku drives through with a takedown into guard.

Ryoku drops back looking for a leg! Gat is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Gat manages to kick Ryoku off! Ryoku jumps back into Gat's guard.

Ryoku drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Ryoku jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Gat looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Gat wants to stand and escape. He's got his foot on Ryoku's hips, looking to push off. But Ryoku grabs a hold of the leg and drops back for an ankle lock! It's hard to tell if he's got it. Both fighters look composed - OH, not anymore they don't! Gat screams like a kid who's trapped his fingers in the car door and taps out! Yikes, that must have hurt - hopefully it's not snapped anything!
