Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Neil Gilas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Omar Dijkstra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gilas comes to the cage accompanied by Remember The Name - Fort Minor. Dijkstra has chosen Soulfly - Back To The Primitive as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Neil Gilas has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Neil Gilas!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Omar Dijkstra!
The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Jeff Smith and Roger Salmon.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A decent looking cross lands there for Gilas.
Nice defenses there by Dijkstra.
Gilas throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Gilas seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Gilas lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Gilas is looking to score with low kicks.
Dijkstra tried to score with a low kick but Gilas checks it.

Dijkstra jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Gilas is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Gilas and Dijkstra has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Dijkstra tries to score with some ground and pound. Gilas controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

Dijkstra creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Gilas sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Our winner, Omar Dijkstra, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
