Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between James Mitchell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stromile Farseer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mitchell comes into the arena with Voices- Rev Theory blaring out of the sound system. James Mitchell could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Stromile Farseer's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mitchell misses with a double jab.
Farseer feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Mitchell's calf.
Farseer slips a jab and a cross from Mitchell.
Mitchell throws a series of punches but Farseer moves out of range.
Mitchell tries to bum rush Farseer with a series of wild strikes but Farseer uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Mitchell ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Mitchell bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Farseer is trying to get back to half guard.

Mitchell looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

Mitchell wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Farseer, who protects the arm well.

Mitchell sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Farseer's guard.

Mitchell swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Farseer cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Farseer shoots in for a takedown and gets it, with a heavy slam. That will score well with the judges.
Oh Mitchell is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Mitchell wants to improve his position but instead Farseer has moved into half guard.
Mitchell is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Farseer jumps into side control!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Farseer cracks Mitchell with a big right hand but Mitchell just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Mitchell sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Farseer is nestled in close to Mitchell, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Farseer takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Farseer lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Mitchell quite badly. Mitchell pulls Farseer in close trying to recover. Farseer postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Mitchell on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Mitchell doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
