Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Leonard Christopher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ben Knope (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Christopher comes to the cage accompanied by LA Beast Official Theme . These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Ben Watson, Topper Green and Darius Henderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Knope fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Christopher avoids it really well and circles away.
Christopher throws a solid leg kick but Knope takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Christopher.
Knope scores with a nice strike.
Christopher moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Knope misses with a left hand
and Christopher counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Knope wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Knope blocks a low kick nicely.
Knope darts in trying to clinch
and Christopher counters with a lovely straight right hand!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Knope tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Christopher was well out of range. Poor timing from Knope.
Christopher shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Knope throws a shot to the body.
Christopher takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Knope tries to close the distance and clinch up but Christopher swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Christopher throws a series of punches but Knope avoids them all with ease.

Christopher gets tackled into the cage by Knope. Knope maintains the clinch.
Knope prevents Christopher from breaking the clinch.
Knope tries to work over Christopher's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Knope lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Knope swings around for an armbar but Christopher sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Knope's guard.
Christopher gets to his feet. Knope looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Knope closes the distance and pushes Christopher back into the cage.

Christopher throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Knopes head.

Christopher tries to break the clinch but Knope is controlling the position.
Knope has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Christopher is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Knope pushes off an throws an elbow but Christopher leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Knope doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Christopher escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Donk. Knope catches Christopher right on the button with a cross.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Knope, as that shot connected.
Knope throws a hook to the side of Christopher's head but Christopher sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Christopher shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Christopher keeps the fight on the outside.
Knope shoots for a takedown but Christopher saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Christopher is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Knope.
Knope fails to land the takedown.
Knope throws a hook to the side of Christopher's head but Christopher sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Knope dives in and grabs Christopher's left leg, looking for a takedown. Christopher pushes down on Knope's head and hops out.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ben Knope dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Knope closes this distance looking for a takedown but Christopher circles away.
Knope throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Christopher misses with a straight left.
Knope throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Christopher.
Knope throws a low kick but Christopher moves out of range easily.
Christopher plants his feet and throws a 3 punch combo. Miss, miss, boom! The third punch, a big right hook, connects right on the temple and drops Knope to the mat, unconscious! This fight is all over! Knope just couldn't keep out of the way of the whole flurry of punches!
