Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
gameelo shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Evans pinned against the cage. Evans gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Horrible takedown by gameelo or perhaps it was just good defense by Evans which made him look bad.
gameelo will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Chase Evans has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of hooda gameelo.
gameelo throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

gameelo drops back looking for a leg! Evans is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Evans manages to kick gameelo off! gameelo jumps back into Evans's guard.
Evans is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Evans wants to pass to mount but gameelo is defending the position.

Evans is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. gameelo can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Evans fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
gameelo is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
The referee warns gameelo that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Evans pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

gameelo tries to hold on but Evans pushes him away.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Evans looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
gameelo wants to control but Evans is having none of it.
