Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ismael Foster!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, James Abramson!
The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Foster tries to close the distance and clinch but Abramson swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Foster fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Abramson misses with a jab, cross combination.
Abramson moves in looking to clinch but Foster pushes him off.
Foster misses with a takedown attempt - Abramson sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Foster stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Foster wants it to stay on the feet.
Abramson tries to clinch up but Foster circles away and keeps his distance.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Foster keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Abramson has closed the distance and engaged Foster in a clinch.
Foster is trying to pull guard but Abramson turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ismael Foster. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Foster tries to pull guard but Abramson holds him up against the cage and eventually Foster drops back down to his feet.
Foster tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Abramson just stands there and leans against the cage.
Foster has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Abramson avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Foster jumps guard and drags Abramson to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Abramson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Foster swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Abramson stands up and waves to Foster to follow him.
Abramson darts in looking for a takedown but Foster gets double underhooks and turns Abramson into the cage.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Foster.
Foster avoids the head kick by Abramson.
Abramson is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Abramson lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.


It looks like Ismael Foster has been cut.
Foster really is a fat lump.

Foster tries to clinch but Abramson moves out of range.
Abramson pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Foster back to the cage. Abramson follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Foster is looking to clinch but Abramson is avoiding it.
Foster takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Foster is breathing heavily.

Abramson moves into the clinch successfully.

Abramson drags the fight down to the ground.
Abramson controls Foster momentarily but Foster frees himself.
Foster stops Abramson from standing up.
Abramson looking to control.

Abramson wants to control but Foster passes easily into half guard.
Abramson wants to control but Foster is keeping busy.
Foster controlling the pace.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Foster lands a nice short elbow.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Abramson closes the distance and clinches.

Abramson pulls guard effortlessly.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Foster shoots in for a takedown but Abramson shows good takedown defense.
Foster fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Abramson darts in and clinches Foster up against the cage.

Foster ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Foster no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Abramson scores with a decent looking elbow strike.

Foster has his foot on Abramson's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Abramson works his way back into a safe position though.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Foster is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Abramson wants to get up but he can't break Foster's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Abramson is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Foster is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Foster has escaped and now he's on top!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Abramson wants to sweep here but Foster controlling him for the moment.
Abramson looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Foster puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.

Foster wants to stand up but Abramson is controlling the position.
Abramson regains full guard. Nicely done.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Foster wanted to stand there but Abramson had control of the position.

Abramson lands a big head kick that sends Foster tumbling to the mat! Abramson takes a step backwards and waves Foster back to his feet - he wants the finish!


Foster is rocked!

Abramson shoots in for a takedown. He's got it... He's hoisted his opponent over his head and is carrying him over to the other end of the mat. The crowd roars in approval and Abramson slams his opponent to the mat. OH, that is naaaaaasty! He's out! Abramson lands a punch to his unconscious victim for good measure before the ref has time to call the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:26 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Slam). James Abramson!
