Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bryce Daniel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Prescot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). John Prescot will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Bryce Daniel!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, John Prescot!
The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Colin Fray and Paul Gruel.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Prescot shoots for a takedown but Daniel saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Daniel is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Prescot.
Prescot misses with a takedown
and Daniel makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Prescot is trying hard to land a takedown here. Daniel sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Bryce Daniel has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Prescot.
Prescot shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Daniel pinned against the cage. Daniel gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Daniel seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.

That was a close round but I would say that Bryce Daniel will probably get the nod.

Daniel got a little sloppy there for a moment and Prescot has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Daniel has managed to get both his arms back between Prescot's legs - danger averted.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

and Daniel counters by clinching up.
Prescot tries to break the clinch but Daniel is controlling the position.

Daniel looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
