The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A decent looking body kick lands there for chaplen.
Moore throws a right and a left that chaplen avoids nicely.
chaplen doesn't manage to clinch there - Moore circles away.
A big right from Moore misses.
chaplen lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Moore fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches chaplen on the side of the head.

Moore scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Moore misses with a double jab.
chaplen shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Moore but Moore pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Mike Moore seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

chaplen closes the distance and clinches up with Moore, looking for a takedown. chaplen pushes Moore against the cage but Moore circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
chaplen throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Moore's waist but Moore gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing chaplen off to one side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for brody chaplen. That's going to take a lot out of him.
