The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Medeiros tests Dall's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Dall tries to work over Medeiros's front leg with a kick but Medeiros checks it.
Medeiros jabs at Dall's body.
Dall throws a predictable looking body shot
and Medeiros connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Dall loads up on a big right hand but Medeiros slips the punch.
Dall dodges the punch combination from Medeiros.
Medeiros lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Dall digs a good body shot into Medeiros's ribs.
Dall throws a hook but Medeiros avoids it easily.
The crowd cheers as Medeiros lands an impressive looking overhand right. Dall doesn't seem phased though.

Dall shoots in and bounces Medeiros off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Dall looking to pass the guard.

Dall passes into half guard.
Dall works his way into side control.
You can see the frustration on Medeiros's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Medeiros is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Dall is one step ahead and moves to full mount!
Dall moves to the back position.

Medeiros is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.

Dall is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

Dall has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Medeiros is defending well but eventually Dall manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Medeiros has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!
