The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Viana tries to clinch there but Tostao circles away.
Viana stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Viana wants it to stay on the feet.
A slapping body kick lands there for Viana.
Viana stuffs the takedown.
Tostao looks winded!
Viana closes the distance and clinches up with Tostao, looking for a takedown. Viana pushes Tostao against the cage but Tostao circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Tostao shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Viana counters with a head kick. That will keep Tostao thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Edgar Viana has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Joao Tostao.
Viana connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

Tostao stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Tostao wants it to stay on the feet.
Tostao tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Tostao is still on wobbly legs! Can Viana finish him?
Viana drops Tostao with a straight right hand, right on the button! Viana follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
